Privacy policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

This policy explains local game records, advertising services’ data use, and information you share for support in the iOS version of ColorHop. It does not cover other applications or this website’s contact form.

1. Developer and contact

ColorHop is developed by Emirhan Güler, an independent developer based in Türkiye. Emirhan Güler is responsible for the personal data processing he carries out. Send privacy questions and data requests to [email protected].

2. Game information stored on your device

ColorHop does not require an account. Level progress, in-game coins, lives and refill times, assistance inventory, unlocked and selected appearances, badges, daily puzzles and rewards, tutorial status, and transaction records preventing duplicate rewards are stored on your device. Sound and vibration preferences are also stored locally. Daily content and timers use the device’s date, time, time zone, and UTC offset.

This information lets you continue playing, retain your preferences, and avoid receiving the same reward more than once. Your game record and its local recovery backup are not sent to a developer-operated server. The developer does not provide cloud saving or an online player account. iOS backup features may separately back up application data according to your settings.

The game does not request camera, microphone, contacts, or precise GPS location access. Appearances and assistance are obtained with in-game coins; the current version has no real-money in-app purchases.

3. Optional advertisements and information processed

ColorHop uses Google AdMob rewarded advertisements to offer lives or in-game coins. You choose whether to start an advertisement; the game has no banner advertisements or automatically displayed advertisements between levels. A reward is added when the advertising service reports completion. You can play without watching advertisements and wait for lives to refill normally.

Opening a life or coin offer may trigger a check of the required privacy information and preload an advertisement. Network requests to Google can therefore occur while an advertisement is being prepared, before you press the button to play it. The required consent check takes place before an ad request.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses and inferred approximate location, device or app identifiers, ad requests, impressions and interactions, app interactions, and crash and performance information. Purposes include ad delivery and measurement, analytics, service performance improvements, security, and fraud prevention. The information processed depends on the SDK, device settings, permissions, and Google’s services.

The developer does not upload your local level progress or in-game wallet to the advertising service. Technical information collected from the device by that service is separate from the game record stored only on your device.

4. Advertising choices and iOS permissions

Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) presents an advertising privacy form where applicable. Its consent status is checked before requesting advertisements. When required, you can reopen and change your choices through Settings → Reklam Gizliliği (Ad Privacy).

Declining personalized advertisements does not automatically stop all technical processing by advertising services. The choices in the form and your device settings affect which advertisements can be prepared. Choosing not to watch an advertisement does not undo an ad request or record already sent.

The current game flow does not present an iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) authorization prompt. ATT authorization and Google’s advertising privacy form are separate mechanisms; a choice in one does not replace the other. You can manage iOS privacy settings on your device.

5. Support correspondence

When you email [email protected] for support or privacy matters, your email address, name if supplied, message, attachments, and correspondence dates are processed. They are used to answer your request, follow up on the issue, and refer to a previous resolution of the same issue when needed. Correspondence is not used to build a marketing list.

The support address uses Gmail, so correspondence is also processed and stored by Google’s email service. Do not send identity documents, passwords, payment information, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request. Information and attachments unnecessary to understand the issue are deleted earlier.

7. Service providers and international processing

The developer does not sell your local level progress or upload it to a server for his own advertising profiling. Google and relevant advertising service providers may process technical information when advertisements are prepared or shown. Google also processes support correspondence as the email service provider. Where legally required, information limited to the relevant request may be shared with competent authorities.

Google’s advertising and email services may process information on servers outside Türkiye, including in the United States and other countries. The links below describe Google’s data use and safeguards. This does not mean that the developer offers a cloud saving service for local game records.

8. Retention periods and deletion

Local game records and the local recovery backup may remain until application data is deleted from your device. Deleting an iOS app differs from offloading it; offloading may retain its data. Manage iCloud or computer backups separately through your backup settings. The developer cannot remotely delete your device’s game record.

Routine support correspondence and necessary attachments are retained for no more than 12 months after the request is closed; copies under the developer’s control are then deleted. Information may be deleted earlier if its purpose has ended or it is unnecessary. You may also request deletion during this period.

Information that must be retained longer for a legal obligation or a specific dispute is an exception to this general period. Only necessary records are kept for the duration of that obligation or dispute and deleted when the reason ends. Retention and deletion of Google’s advertising data and its own service records depend on Google’s policies and available controls. The developer cannot directly delete all of Google’s records.

9. Your rights and requests

Under applicable data protection rules, you have rights to learn whether your personal data is processed, request information about it and its purposes, learn its recipients, correct inaccurate or incomplete information, and request deletion when the conditions are met. Where applicable, you may also request notification of corrections or deletion to recipients, object to an adverse outcome based solely on automated evaluation, and seek compensation for harm caused by unlawful processing.

For information under the developer’s control, email [email protected] with the subject “ColorHop Privacy Request.” Describe your request and provide enough information to locate the relevant correspondence; you do not need to send an identity document or password initially. Proportionate additional verification may be requested when necessary. Requests are answered within the periods required by applicable law.

You can withdraw or change your advertising choices through the relevant privacy options. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Depending on the rules where you live, you may also complain to a competent data protection authority and have additional rights.

Where European Union or United Kingdom rules apply and the conditions are met, you may also restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and receive data covered by portability in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Applicable US state rules may provide rights to opt out of advertising-related sharing or targeted advertising; use the Ad Privacy options available for your region or contact the developer. Exercising your rights will not result in discriminatory treatment in support provided by the developer.

10. Children’s privacy

ColorHop is a puzzle game for a general audience. The game does not ask players to enter a name, date of birth, email address, or chat information. This does not mean that advertising services process no technical information; advertising data use and choices are described above.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child shared personal information through the support channel, email [email protected]. You may request review and deletion of information under the developer’s control in accordance with applicable rules.

11. Policy updates

This policy may change as game features or services change. The current text and last updated date are published here. Additional notice or consent for significant changes will be provided when applicable rules require it.
